Responsibilities
Leading the preparation of clients' contracts and technical annexes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Overseeing the review and approval process for all architectural and design technical documents received from consultants.
Facilitating technical coordination among architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines throughout the project life-cycle.
Conducting comprehensive value engineering studies for all trades, optimizing cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
Reviewing and validating shop drawings produced by contractors, collaborating closely with project consultants to address any discrepancies.
Acting as the primary representative of the owner in technical meetings between contractors and consultants, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Collaborating with design consultants to ensure that design criteria are met in all technical documents and project stages.
Working closely with cost control management to manage project budgets effectively and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
Conducting thorough technical evaluations of project materials in coordination with consultants to ensure compliance with specifications.
Monitoring and tracking the delivery of submittals by consultants, proactively addressing any delays to maintain project timelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree Architecture.
A Master's degree or additional certifications (e.g., PMP OR BIM) is preferred.Extensive experience (12 to 15 years) in technical management roles within the construction industry, with a focus on sustainable and smart buildings (Administrative buildings, Commercial buildings … etc.)
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes/regulations in Egypt.
