      Responsibilities


      Job Purpose

      The Procurement and Contracting Manager will lead the commercial procurement and contracting activities across the organization, ensuring efficient sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and compliance with commercial and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong commercial acumen, supplier management capability, negotiation expertise, and experience in supply chain or corporate procurement environments.


      Main Responsibilities


      Procurement

      • Lead end-to-end procurement activities for goods and services across non-technical and indirect categories, including sourcing, market research, RFP/RFQ processes, evaluation, and supplier selection.

      • Develop category strategies that drive cost savings, process efficiencies, and supplier performance improvements.

      • Maintain and optimize vendor master data, preferred supplier lists, and procurement documentation.

      • Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, evaluate proposals, and ensure competitive commercial terms.

      • Oversee purchase order creation, contract compliance, and procurement governance.

      Contract Management

      • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, agreements, and service-level arrangements, working closely with the legal team for alignment.

      • Ensure all contracts follow internal policies, legal requirements, commercial best practices, and risk-management frameworks.

      • Maintain a central contract repository and track contract milestones, renewals, expiration, obligations, and performance metrics.

      • Conduct contract audits to ensure compliance with pricing, terms, and performance expectations.

      Supplier and Stakeholder Management

      • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers in various categories, including services, operations, logistics, professional services, and indirect procurement.

      • Drive supplier performance reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

      • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and support strategic sourcing decisions.

      Risk, Compliance and Process Improvement

      • Identify commercial, financial, and operational risks within procurement and contracting; implement mitigation strategies.

      • Ensure procurement and contract activities comply with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and ethical sourcing guidelines.

      • Support the development of procurement policies, procedures, templates, and reporting tools.

      • Lead or participate in initiatives to improve procurement efficiency, supplier diversity, sustainability, and cost optimization.


      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Law, or a related field.

      • 8–12 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, commercial contracting, or vendor management.

      • Demonstrated experience managing sourcing and contracting processes for indirect or non-technical categories.

      • Strong understanding of commercial contracts, legal terms, procurement lifecycle, and negotiation tactics.
