Responsibilities
Job Purpose
Assisting Project Manager in managing a project's engineering and technical aspects. This includes coordinating with various teams, managing schedules, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and providing technical guidance to team members.
Job Duties
In accordance with the Project Manager
In-charge for overseeing all construction works
Provide technical support and guidance to the project team members.
Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all implemented works meets the specification and contract conditions.
Coordinate with other project stakeholders to ensure that deadlines, procedures, and other project requirements are met.
Supervising consultants and contractors to ensure that work meets deadlines
Consulting with the technical office on design needs and providing recommendations.
After discussion with technical office and design management giving instruction to the project consultant in conflicted issues.
Coordinate with the technical office in all matters to ensure providing the site with all required technical documents.
Attend all progress and technical meetings with stakeholders if needed.
Review projects progress reports and approve thim.
Identify and resolve technical issues and problems that arise during the project.
Ensure the project adheres to quality standards and regulations.
Ensure accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders….. etc.
Assist in evaluation of submitted value engineering proposals.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years experience in similar projects execution and technical work.
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil/Arch. Engineering from a recognized University or Colleges
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal English.
Client facing role, ability to manage client requirements.
Conversant in AutoCad, BIM and Microsoft office.
Solid technical skills with thorough knowledge of construction projects
PMP‐Project Management Professional (is an advantage).
